The First Noël

The first Noël
The angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds
In fields they lay

In fields where they lay
Tending their sheep
On a cold winter's night
That was so deep

Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël
Born is the King of Israel

They looked, they looked up
And they saw a star
Shining in the east
Beyond them far

And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night

Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël
Born is the King of Israel
Jesus, oh, yeah, Christ is
Born is the King of Israel
(Jesus Christ is born)
Born is the King of Israel

Noël, Noël, Noël, Noël
Born is the King of Israel
Jesus (the first Noël)
He is the son, yeah
Born is the king of, king of
Oh, yeah, yeah
Christ is born
Oh, halleluja, hey
He is born
Christ, the King is born
